Saturday, June 14, WMHT Studios, 4 Global View, Troy, NY WMHT is having a 'Celebration of Reading and Writing' to honor the participants (children in grades K-3rd) of the 2008 WMHT Reading Rainbow contest. The celebration is on June 14th from 12-2 pm at the WMHT Studios in Troy, NY. We would like local authors and illustrators to attend to help promote further reading and writing of children's books to the children who created their own stories. Authors will have their own table and lead any activity of their choice. At the event, we will honor the local winners of this year's contest as well as have lots of giveaways and fun activities for children to participate in.
